Natasha & Blake’s Last-Minute Mount Rainier Elopement
I had the honor of photographing Natasha & Blake’s Mount Rainier wedding this fall, and man was it an amazing day.
They booked me about 10 days before their elopement, so it was a super last-minute elopement – but I am just loving these last-minute, super simple elopements so much! Check out Jen & Joey’s Last-Minute Elopement for another example of a beautiful, simplistic elopement that was planned in a short time.
Natasha and Blake were a super sweet, easy-going couple that made it effortless to capture their love for each other. Their ceremony was one of the sweetest ceremonies I’ve witnessed, and their vows were some of the most heartfelt I’ve had the privilege of hearing.
We were pretty dang lucky that the rain held out until RIGHT when we got back to our cars. And then Natasha and Blake indulged my creativity a bit, letting me photograph them twirling around in the rain to end the night. It all felt meant to be.
This elopement was so lovely, and was the most wonderful way to wrap up my season at Rainier/Tahoma! Thanks Natasha and Blake for letting me tag along and capture your day!
Naches Peak Loop Trail Info
The Naches Peak Loop trail is one of my favorites to take clients to, accessible by parking at Tipsoo Lake. It’s a popular hike in the area because it’s so easy to access! The loop is 3.5 miles long, making it a moderate length and not too hard for a relaxed elopement.

It’s got stunning views, but be sure to monitor the weather conditions if you elope here in the fall or winter, as the trail is impacted by snow!
